My wife and I hired her to play at our wedding and Anna was beyond phenomenal. Our wedding was out-of-state and planned within a few months. (My wife and I were engaged for a bit but external circumstances forced us to plan quickly.) Despite the rush, Anna was able to lend her helping hand (and be flexible to preferences) in making sure our special day was indeed special; and at a great rate too! Now, I won't say she can perform impossible miracles but she is the type of person that will go above and beyond to make something beautiful happen. If you don't think she's the right violinist for you, best wishes finding someone else because they don't exist. If I could, she's a 10/05 stars, hands down.

Anna is a wonderful musician. I first met her several years ago, when I was playing keys for a show at Riverside Center for the Performing Arts. Anna came in to play violin. She also played for me in a quartet to accompany the adult chorus I conduct. She always comes prepared, and plays wonderfullly. I have had a chance to see her perform many times in the greater Fredericksburg area. She always adds to the performances.

I had the honor of having Mrs. Anna as my violin private instructor for many years. Not only does she know what she’s talking about where music and violin is concerned, she also enjoys sharing violin and music with her students. I remember countless laughs and happy memories with Mrs. Anna. She was always very personable, respectful, and understanding. One time, I had broke my hand merely days before a recital Mrs. Anna helped me prepare for, and rather than being upset with me, she was so kind and helpful during the entire healing process of my hand. I HIGHLY recommend her as a private instructor!

I had the pleasure of working with Anna Sammel during Riverside Center for the Performing Arts’ production of “Beauty and the Beast”. Even though I was not a member of the orchestra, the beautiful and flawless music that she produced could not be mistaken. She is an insanely talented musician as well as a phenomenal teacher. I started working with Anna approximately 6 months ago. In that time, she has shown me incredible patience as I essentially relearn an instrument I put down 20 years ago. Anna is always encouraging and motivating. I enjoy the gentle reminders to bend my pinky finger and loosen my left hand as I work through scales during warm up. Anna is fully supportive with helping me reach my ultimate goal of sitting in a local orchestra. She inspires me to practice and to be a better violinist. I look forward to every lesson.
